Position Purpose: 

The Nurse Senior – Educator works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Labor & Delivery Department to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. What You Will Do: 

• Employment Type/Shift: FT Days

• Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.  

• Leads, delegates and serves as a mentor to others on the team.  

• Provides formal and informal education for nurses and other health professionals/students. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN; basic professional nursing degree MSN preferred.   

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State. 

• Certifications aligned with area of responsibility preferred.
