Responsibilities

The Global Industrials Group (GIG) is one of the leading industrial investment banking teams on the street. Coverage expands across all major industry verticals, including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Building Materials, Capital Goods, Chemicals, Infrastructure, Steel, Paper and Packaging, Business Services and Transportation.

Being part of a global franchise means the team works on many of the largest and high-profile deals, often cross-border in conjunction with teams in Europe North and South America, the Middle East and Asia. As such, bankers at all levels will interact daily with colleagues from all over the world.

Key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining complex financial models

• Performing various financial analyses, including valuations and merger effects

• Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research

• Preparing presentation and other materials for clients

• Communicating and interacting with deal team members, including those in international regions and in various product groups

• Managing several projects at once and working effectively as an individual and as part of a team

• Playing a key role in supporting origination, opportunity evaluation and deal execution, working on abroad scope of assignments and products across financial services

• Participating in due diligence sessions

• Team members work closely with senior bankers in day-to-day client coverage and are expected to make an immediate contribution

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Previous Investment Banking experience

• 1-3 years of experience in Global Industrials industry preferred

• Advanced technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage productively with senior team members

• Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, team focus

• A track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities

• Ability to work collaboratively and under tight deadlines with minimum direct supervision
