Inspire Healthy Living – Join Baptist Senior Family as Our Next Wellness Coordinator!
Are you passionate about helping others stay active, engaged, and confident at every stage of life? At Baptist Senior Family, we’re looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Wellness Coordinator to develop and lead engaging fitness classes and wellness programs for residents and employees across our community.
As part of the Baptist Senior Family Wellness team, you’ll play an active, highly visible role in our Culture of Wellness—leading group exercise classes, introducing residents to safe and effective fitness opportunities, supporting individual wellness goals, and helping create programs that promote strength, balance, mobility, independence, and overall wellbeing. If you love teaching, motivating others, and building relationships through wellness, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Why You’ll Love This Role
As our Wellness Coordinator, you won’t spend your day behind a desk. You’ll be actively engaging with residents and employees, leading fitness and aquatic classes, developing new wellness programming, and helping participants discover ways to remain strong, active, and independent.
You’ll have the opportunity to bring your creativity and expertise to a diverse wellness program serving older adults with a wide range of abilities and fitness levels. From group strength and balance classes to aquatic programming, fitness assessments, wellness education, and individual coaching, your work will have a direct impact on quality of life.
If you’re an enthusiastic fitness professional who loves leading a room, building relationships, creating inclusive programs, and helping people achieve meaningful wellness goals, you’ll thrive at Baptist Senior Family.

Coordinate Fitness Operations: Help schedule and coordinate fitness classes, instructors, contractual staff, and wellness programming while supporting the Wellness Director in training staff and maintaining consistent, high-quality services.
Create a Safe & Welcoming Wellness Environment: Monitor fitness and aquatic spaces, reinforce safety protocols, maintain equipment and supplies, participate in emergency preparedness activities, and serve in lifeguard responsibilities when needed.
Build Engagement & Community: Develop strong relationships with residents and employees, support wellness advisory groups and worksite wellness initiatives, and create programs that encourage continued participation, connection, and healthy lifestyles.
Measure & Improve Program Success: Track participation and satisfaction, evaluate program effectiveness, assist with wellness communications and promotional materials, and use data and participant feedback to continuously strengthen programming.
