Arxada is looking for a Supply & Material Planner to join our team at the Arxada Kabinburi Plant in Prachinburi. The primary responsibility of this role is to plan and schedule production activities in alignment with customer demand and available production capacity to ensure on-time product delivery. The position works closely with Production, Quality Control, Warehouse, Customer Service, Logistics, and other cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization and maintain smooth operations. The Supply & Material Planner will monitor production progress, analyze potential issues, and adjust plans as necessary to support business objectives and operational efficiency.
This position is accountable for the plant production to ensure products conforming to Arxada quality standard, efficient and effective compared to standard and plans, and responsible to maintain all equipment in the production facilities in good condition.
- Responsible for a wide variety of duties associated with overseeing, coordinating, and controlling the manufacturing, including analyzing jobs, assigning jobs, assigning work to employees, resolving problems, monitoring work activities and performing related duties, under the direction of the Production Manager, within the limits of established policies.
- Monitors and properly closes batch cards and make reviews on all yield and batch time compared to standard and plans.
- Responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and controlling the activities of the department using related equipment and processes.
- Monitor the manufacture of products composed of varied materials.
- Assign work to employees in keeping with schedules and by difficulty involved, and instruct, direct, and check their work on a continuing basis.
- Evaluate work quality and quantity and resolve problems in quality and workmanship.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and take corrective action.
- Discuss jobs with other supervisory, support personnel.
- Monitor department work activities.
- Receive and breakdown schedules, analyze jobs to determine machine, equipment and processing parameters as required.
- Interface with engineering, Planner & Logistic, quality control, and other departments to obtain clear quality instructions, secure services and information.
- Schedule in urgent jobs and comply with revisions.
- Maintain discipline and employee morale.
- Check time card accuracy.
- Assist employees in planning, setting up and inspecting work.
- Continuously promote safety culture by developing, implementing, enforcing, and driving safety consciousness to all levels within your organization
- Take immediate action and be accountable to any unsafe act / practices observed and promote safe work practices
- To discover causes and perform corrective actions when discrepancies occur
- To perform scheduled training for safety, job orientated tasks, standard operating procedures, and/or housekeeping procedures
- Attend all manufacturing meetings as scheduled.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for employees
- Must be able to provide feedback and coach employees on their performance and when necessary develop performance improvement plans.
- Interview applicants for employment.
- Maintain related records, files in up-to-date condition.
- Maintain office area and equipment in clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Follow established company/department rules and regulations and maintain quality standard.
- Responsible to perform accurate cycle counts
- Responsible for correct inventory transaction and moves
- Perform other related duties as directed or as responsibilities dictate. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum three years supervisory experience or relevant experience
- Computer skills – must be able to use email system (Outlook), Internet training (Active Learner), MS Excel, MS Word.
- 3+ years of related experience in Chemical industry
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Raw Material or Production Planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems is required, experience in OMP is preferredExcellent time management skills, effective with multitasking, capable of prioritization, and adept ability to improvise work plans while maintaining efficiency
