Role Overview
The Leasing Associate is responsible for generating leasing opportunities, promoting available properties, and guiding prospective tenants throughout the leasing process. The role focuses on achieving occupancy and leasing targets through effective lead generation, client engagement, property promotion, and strong relationship management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in leasing, sales, real estate, property management, customer service, or a related field.
- With relevant work experience within the real-estate, property management, or related industry.
- Strong sales orientation with the ability to generate leads, convert prospects, and consistently achieve leasing and occupancy targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with CRM, leasing, or property management systems.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple prospects, accounts, and leasing activities simultaneously.
- Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, or flexible schedules based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate, qualify, and convert leasing leads through online platforms, referrals, walk-ins, social media, and other marketing channels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, brokers, relocation agencies, and other business partners to expand leasing opportunities and secure referrals.
- Conduct business development activities such as networking, client visits, and participation in industry events to strengthen the leasing network.
- Respond promptly to prospective tenant inquiries and conduct consistent follow-ups to maximize leasing conversions.
- Conduct property tours and effectively present available units, amenities, rental rates, lease terms, and other leasing options to prospective tenants.
- Guide applicants throughout the leasing process, including application submission, document collection, screening coordination, lease signing, and move-in requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing tenants by providing responsive and professional customer service.
- Assist in creating, posting, and optimizing property advertisements across relevant online and offline marketing channels.
- Participate in leasing events, property open houses, and promotional activities to increase property visibility and lead generation.
- Prepare leasing documents, contracts, reports, and other required paperwork accurately and maintain organized records of prospects, tenants, and leasing transactions.
- Maintain updated records of leads, prospects, corporate accounts, and leasing activities through the appropriate tracking or CRM system.
- Coordinate with Property Management, Finance, Maintenance, and other internal teams to facilitate smooth tenant move-ins and resolve leasing-related concerns.
- Monitor competitor properties, rental rates, market conditions, and leasing trends, and provide recommendations on pricing and promotional strategies.
- Track leasing performance, lead conversion, occupancy status, and market feedback while identifying opportunities to improve leasing results.
- Meet or exceed established leasing, sales, and occupancy targets.
