Department: Pricing
Reports to: VP of Pricing
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Employment Type: UoP
About the Role
Kyriba is looking for a Pricing Specialist to serve as the operational backbone of our commercial pricing function. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Finance, Revenue, Legal, and Technology — and is accountable for two critical capabilities: Pricing Governance (owning the end-to-end process that controls every commercial change before it reaches our quoting and billing systems) and Pricing Operations (serving as the primary pricing interface for internal stakeholders who interact with our commercial catalog every day).
This is a high visibility, high-judgment, cross-functional position that combines process ownership, commercial decision-making, stakeholder facilitation, architecture design and system operations. The ideal candidate is intellectually rigorous, commercially astute, fluent with AI-assisted workflows, and energized by building scalable systems in a fast-moving environment.
If you are looking for a role where you will influence how a global SaaS company commercializes its products, this is it.
What You Will Do
• Own and evolve the pricing governance framework, including intake process, decision criteria, and approval workflows, and facilitate the monthly SKU Request Council with stakeholders across Product, Finance, Revenue, Legal, and Corporate Systems.
• Build and maintain the commercial catalog as the source of truth for all commercial products and pricing structures; proactively identify and remediate catalog gaps, inconsistencies, and redundancies.
• Support initiatives to transform and modernize the pricing architecture in usage-based pricing transformation, achieving simplicity, agility, and scalability.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to automate documentation, ticket triage, catalog analysis, and meeting summaries; continuously identify opportunities to improve pricing workflow efficiency.
• Serve as the primary pricing interface for business functions and Corporate Systems: triage and prioritize incoming requests, make decisions on billing metrics and commercial structure, and act as the go-to SME on pricing policies.
• Translate approved pricing into clear system requirements for CPQ, ERP, and Billing systems; partner with IT/Systems on configuration, testing, and deployment of all pricing changes.
• Review and adjudicate deal pricing exception requests; develop and maintain playbooks and guidelines to streamline Sales processes and reduce recurring exceptions.
• Track and analyze pricing request patterns, exception trends, and catalog health metrics; synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for policy and process improvements.
What You Bring
Required
• 3–6 years of experience in pricing operations, commercial operations, or a closely related function at a B2B SaaS or enterprise software company
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and/or CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), including price book management, product catalog, discount structures, and quoting template configuration
• Demonstrated AI fluency: hands-on experience using GenAI or AI-assisted tools (e.g., for prompt engineering, documentation, triage, analysis, or reporting) to streamline business operations
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, and project tracking tools (Jira or equivalent)
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional processes and governance bodies with competing stakeholder priorities
• Excellent attention to detail, self-motivated, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial judgment: you understand how pricing decisions ripple through quoting, billing, contracts, and revenue recognition
• Ability to translate complex, fragmented, and sometimes contradictory stakeholder input into clear decisions, structured documentation, and actionable system requirements
• Process builder mindset: you don't just solve problems, you build systems so they don't recur
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
• High comfort with ambiguity and incomplete information; you know when to ask clarifying questions and when to move forward
Preferred
• Familiarity with pricing methodologies including usage-based, subscription, tiered, and consumption models in a SaaS context
• Background in fintech, treasury, payments, or financial infrastructure SaaS
• Working knowledge of ERP integrations or Lead-to-Cash operational flows
• Experience with data and analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, or equivalent) for pricing performance analysis
• Fluency in English required; additional European languages a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA a plus
