Description
As the leading company in the field of software solutions for healthcare, we operate in 19 countries and employ over 9,000 dedicated staff members. You will work in a dynamic and innovative environment full of opportunities. With your commitment and passion, you have the chance to make a sustainable difference.
CGM Leverages AI: We’re looking for people who feel the power of AI in the e-health environment, who want to help shape change, and who are driven by a curious passion to see how technology can make healthcare smarter, simpler, and better.
Together, we are shaping the healthcare system of the future. Become part of our mission and make a difference – for a world where knowledge saves lives!
Are you passionate about groundbreaking products? Do you have the talent to turn ideas into real, valuable solutions—while always keeping the bigger picture in mind? Then we’d love to meet you!
Your Responsibilities:
You define and drive the technology strategy together with the CTO and establish effective governance frameworks across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You set the architectural guardrails for AI-native development, ensuring that AI-generated code is consistently reviewed against our architectural principles.
You own technology lifecycle management – from introducing new capabilities through to modernising and retiring existing systems.
You define the role of architecture within the FIRE team delivery model and establish it as a fixed, operational part of our product development.
You build the Architecture Guild as an active community of practice, develop Guild leaders within the teams, and coach architects and senior engineers.
Your Profile:
Several years of experience as a Senior Architect or Head of Architecture in a complex, enterprise-wide technology environment – with demonstrable hands-on delivery, not just strategic advisory.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) and domain-driven design in large-scale engineering contexts.
Practical experience with microservices, cloud-native, and event-driven architectures, ideally across both greenfield and modernisation projects.
Familiarity with AI-native development models and the architectural implications of AI-generated code and autonomous agents.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – credible from engineering teams up to executive board level, ideally with experience in healthcare IT or another regulated industry.
What you can expect from us:
