Position Title: Drafting Support and Coordinator
Desired Start Date: August 10, 2026
Anticipated Length of Contract:
Work Location: Onsite (PC50)
Expected Work Hours: 40hrs week

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: (align with Project Roles and Responsibilities GFD-RS-122-C where relevant)
- Maintain, edit, and archive all drawings and documentation within the responsibility of the PR-01 drafting group, in accordance with Lilly's systems and guidelines.
- Serve as coordinator as required by Client, leading the drawing revision and approval process.
- Manage project-related reporting and coordination using Lilly's platforms via the Site's communication systems.
- Maintain all applicable customer procedures training within a valid, up-to-date status.
- Follow both Lilly's and Mentor's procedures and guidelines to assure service quality and continuity.
- Drive and lead drawing revisions, operating under a dynamic environment with accountability for expeditiously revising and managing the drawing approval process.
- Perform additional drafting and coordination support duties as assigned, consistent with Project Roles and Responsibilities GFD-RS-122-C.
Qualifications: (included educational, certification, and experience-driven qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, engineering, or life sciences), or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in drafting, CAD documentation, and engineering drawing revision control, preferably within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or comparable regulated capital-project environment.
- Working knowledge of drawing management systems, documentation standards, and revision/approval workflows within a regulated client environment (e.g., Lilly's systems and guidelines).
- Demonstrated capability to drive and lead drawing revisions and serve as coordinator for the drawing revision and approval process, as required by Client.
- Experience maintaining, editing, and archiving engineering drawings and related documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Ability to maintain current, valid training on all applicable customer procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to expeditiously revise and manage the drawing approval process under a dynamic project schedule.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with site personnel, project teams, and client representatives on drafting matters.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document/records management systems.
Additional Preferences: (nice to haves)
- Prior experience serving as a drafting coordinator on a large-scale pharmaceutical or biotech capital project.
- Familiarity with Lilly's systems and guidelines, or comparable client documentation platforms.
- Experience with Meridian GECMS or similar engineering content/document management systems.
- Experience working onsite and coordinating with engineering, construction, and project leadership on drawing revisions and documentation needs.
- Experience following both a client's procedures and a staffing/service-provider's procedures concurrently to maintain service quality and continuity.
