Te tūranga – The role  

As a key member of the People & Culture Leadership Team, you'll help drive the strategic direction and performance of the function while contributing to broader organisational priorities. 

You'll provide expert leadership and advice across strategic planning, governance, organisational change, workforce initiatives, executive reporting, and performance delivery. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll translate strategy into action, ensuring people initiatives deliver meaningful and lasting organisational outcomes. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Partnering with the Director, P&C to deliver the organisation's people strategy. 

• Providing high-quality strategic advice to executive leaders and governance groups. 

• Leading complex programmes of work that drive organisational performance and transformation. 

• Overseeing strategic planning, reporting, governance, and performance monitoring. 

• Strengthening leadership capability, organisational culture, and employee experience.

• Driving continuous improvement and innovation across People & Culture practices. 

Ō pūkenga – About you 

You're a strategic thinker, trusted advisor, and influential leader who thrives in complex environments. 

You'll bring: 

• Extensive senior-level experience in People & Culture, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Strategy or a related field.  

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing organisational or people strategies. 

• Experience preparing Board and Executive-level advice and reporting.  

• Experience leading complex programmes of work in large or complex organisations.  

• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive organisational outcomes.

The anticipated appointment range for this role is $176,054 to $205,396 (actual salary will be dependent on your skills and experience).
