DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the commercial relationship with Telefónica, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring the achievement of revenue, margin, and growth targets.
You will act as the key point of contact between Telefónica, our vendors, and Ingecom-Ignition’s internal teams, driving commercial opportunities and ensuring effective coordination throughout the entire sales cycle.
We are looking for a commercially driven, proactive, and results-oriented professional with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at Telefónica, understand their business and cybersecurity needs, and develop long-term growth opportunities.
As the Account Manager, you will:
• Manage and develop the commercial relationship with Telefónica, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and identifying new business opportunities.
• Develop and execute the Telefónica account plan, defining strategies and actions to achieve assigned revenue, margin, and growth targets.
• Identify new sales opportunities across Telefónica’s different business areas, teams, and stakeholders.
• Understand Telefónica’s cybersecurity needs and propose appropriate solutions from the Ingecom-Ignition portfolio and our strategic vendors.
• Promote and position vendor solutions within Telefónica, developing new opportunities and expanding their presence across the account.
• Work closely with vendors to drive commercial opportunities, joint business initiatives, campaigns, demand generation activities, and events focused on Telefónica.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure the effective management and execution of opportunities.
• Manage and develop the Telefónica sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are accurately updated in the CRM and maintaining reliable sales forecasts.
• Lead the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification and qualification through to deal closure and post-sales follow-up.
• Prepare, present, and negotiate commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with internal pricing, margin, and profitability policies.
• Continuously monitor account performance, analyzing results against targets, identifying deviations, and defining action plans where necessary.
• Represent Ingecom-Ignition in meetings, events, industry activities, and other commercial initiatives with Telefónica and strategic vendors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across Telefónica, developing a deep understanding of their priorities, business needs, and cybersecurity challenges.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Telefónica’s business environment, the cybersecurity market, competitive landscape, and vendor solutions in order to identify new growth opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
• Previous experience in a commercial role within the IT sector, preferably in cybersecurity, technology, or IT distribution.
• Experience managing and developing strategic accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and develop long-term commercial relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong results orientation and experience working towards commercial targets.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Analytical mindset with a strong focus on pipeline, forecasting, and commercial KPIs.
• Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented.
• Strong interest in the cybersecurity sector and willingness to stay up to date with new technologies and solutions.
• Good level of English, both written and spoken.
