A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Field Business Operations Lead reporting to Executive Manager Field Business Operations 

A bit about your role  

The Field Business Operations Lead is responsible for driving the alignment and execution of regional field operations to ensure safe, efficient and predictable delivery outcomes. The role provides operational leadership across workforce performance, readiness, project delivery, quality, customer experience and continuous improvement by integrating planning, execution and performance activities into a cohesive operating model. 

Working closely with Field Operations, Planning, Project Delivery, Quality, Performance and other key stakeholders, the Field Operations Lead translates business priorities into actionable delivery plans, manages operational risks and dependencies, and drives performance improvement. The role ensures field execution aligns with organisational objectives, governance requirements and workforce capability, while supporting operational excellence and regional maturity. 

A bit about you  

This role requires a highly capable business and delivery professional preferably with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, complemented by Scaled Agile (SAFe) certification. The successful candidate will bring experience in business analysis, solution design and delivery within large, complex enterprise environments. They will have a proven ability to translate business needs into practical, customer-focused solutions while working effectively across multiple stakeholders, business units and technology teams.  

Success will come from a results-driven professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions. The successful candidate will excel in stakeholder engagement, risk management, process improvement and continuous improvement, while driving operational efficiency and delivering outcomes in complex environments. 

The ideal candidate will have telecommunications industry experience and a strong background in project delivery, with expertise in change management and operational implementation. They will be experienced in driving business transformation initiatives, supporting agile delivery practices, and ensuring solutions are successfully embedded into day-to-day operations. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to successful business outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
