Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior KYC Analyst at the C11-Manager level to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the periodic KYC refresh process for our EMEA country clients. This role requires a deep understanding of KYC regulations across the EMEA region, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle complex KYC records. The Senior KYC Analyst will also play a key role in training junior team members, driving process improvements, and ensuring a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Periodic Refresh Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end periodic KYC refresh process for clients in the EMEA region, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all reviews.
- Complex Case Management: Act as a subject matter expert for complex KYC records, providing guidance and resolution for challenging cases.
- Team Mentorship and Training: Train and mentor junior KYC analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality work output from the team.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains within the KYC workflow. Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving the overall KYC process.
- Client Management: Serve as a key point of contact for EMEA clients, addressing their queries and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Proactively manage client relationships to prevent escalations.
- Quality Assurance and Escalation Management: Ensure that all KYC records meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. Handle any potential escalations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Support Team Leadership: Provide support to the Team Lead on various ad-hoc activities, projects, and initiatives as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior KYC/AML role, with a strong focus on the EMEA region.
- KYC/AML Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and requirements across various EMEA jurisdictions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients, team members, and senior stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex KYC cases.
- Leadership and Training: Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior team members.
- Client Focus: A strong commitment to delivering excellent client service and managing client relationships effectively.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support team objectives.
- Proactive Attitude: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred. Professional certifications such as CAMS are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Professional certification such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) is highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in a foreign language relevant to the EMEA region is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with AI tools and their application in enhancing KYC processes is a plus.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
