General Summary:

The Lead, Process Design & Standards is responsible for leading and advancing enterprise Source to Pay (S2P) process design and standards. This role serves as a senior process architect and steward for S2P, helping ensure clarity, consistency, scalability, and alignment with enterprise governance and strategy.
Operating within the S2P Center of Excellence, this role focuses on how S2P should work across the organization and partners closely with Category and Sourcing teams, User Orchestration, and Execution Systems & Analytics COE teams to help ensure that process intent is translated into user experiences, systems, and insights—without owning execution, configuration, or operational reporting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set the Foundation: Process Architecture & Standards
    •    Lead the design, documentation, and maintenance of end to end S2P, SRM and Category Strategy process frameworks, standards, policies, controls, and decision models.
    •    Serve as a senior steward of S2P, SRM and Category Strtategy process integrity, helping drive consistency and scalability across categories, regions, and business units.
    •    Define clear process decision guidance, handoffs, and control points across sourcing, contracting, buying channels, invoicing, and payment.
    •    Advance process standards that align with enterprise governance, audit, and compliance expectations in partnership with Finance, Legal, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Process Excellence & Optimization
    •    Apply a market and benchmarking lens to assess S2P, SRM and Category Strategy process maturity and identify improvement opportunities.
    •    Lead the design, documentation, and maintenance of end to end S2P, SRM, and Category Strategy process frameworks, standards, policies, controls, and decision models.
    •    Serve as a senior steward of S2P, SRM, and Category Strategy process integrity, helping drive consistency and scalability across categories, regions, and business units.
    •    Define and maintain process performance measures covering efficiency, effectiveness, compliance, and user experience.
    •    Lead continuous improvement efforts, leveraging Lean and process excellence methodologies.
    •    Use performance insights to inform prioritization of process enhancements and future state design decisions.
  • Digital & Analytics Alignment
    •    Advance process standards that are digitally enabled by design and aligned with current and future S2P, SRM and Category Strategy technology roadmaps.
    •    Partner with the Execution Systems & Analytics COE to translate process standards into system design principles, configuration guardrails, and analytics requirements, without owning system configuration or reporting execution.
    •    Provide clarity on process intent to support effective solution design, adoption sequencing, and insight generation.
  • Cross COE & Enterprise Partnership
    •    Partner with the User Orchestration COE to ensure process standards are reflected in intake design, buying channel guidance, and decision flows.
    •    Partner with Category and Sourcing teams to embed enterprise process standards into category strategies and sourcing ways of working.
    •    Support S2P governance forums with insight into process health, maturity, risks, and improvement priorities.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement, S2P, or Supply Chain process design, optimization, or governance roles.
  • Deep expertise in process standardization, controls, and performance management within complex organizations.
  • Strong ability to influence outcomes in matrixed, cross functional environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment across cross functional stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical and process documentation, including standards, procedures, and decision frameworks.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree

Pay Range:

$139,100 - $208,700

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
