Department: Restoration
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Dallas, TX
Reporting To: Chad Walker
Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 / hour
Description
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies within the warehouse. This role supports daily operations by tracking inventory movement, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining organized storage areas. The position works closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure items are available, accounted for, and ready to support project needs.
What you'll be Doing
- Track and maintain accurate inventory levels for materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations to support efficient operations.
- Monitor inventory usage and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items.
- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits.
- Maintain inventory records in systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate with Warehouse Managers and field teams to fulfill inventory requests.
- Prepare materials and equipment for deployment to job sites.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and tracking of assets and inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Follow company policies and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Assist with basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Support process improvements related to inventory control and warehouse efficiency.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support operations.
What You Bring to the Table
- 1–3 years of inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
- Experience in construction, restoration, or a related industry is a plus.
- Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems preferred.
