- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with location requirements.
- Observe and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and potential hazards to the appropriate personnel using established reporting procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the chemical and petrochemical location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
