We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Operations Specialist to join our Commercial Excellence team. This role will be responsible for supporting and continuously improving commercial processes, performance management, and data governance across Europe. The Revenue Operations Specialist will serve as a key partner to Sales, Finance, and Commercial Excellence teams, ensuring reliable data, scalable processes, and actionable business insights that support commercial growth and operational excellence.
This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
Develop and maintain quota models, territory alignment processes, customer assignments, and account coverage plans to support commercial planning activities.
Support annual quota planning cycles, attainment calculations, sales performance reporting, and incentive compensation processes.
Analyze commercial data and prepare reports, dashboards, and insights that support business decision-making and performance management.
Manage and maintain data quality, integrity, and governance related to customer ownership, sales hierarchies, account assignments, and territory structures.
Ensure data consistency across Salesforce, Oracle, reporting platforms, and other business systems.
Perform regular data audits, identify inconsistencies, and implement corrective actions to improve data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Operations teams to support commercial initiatives and operational execution.
Develop, document, and improve commercial processes, policies, governance frameworks, and operating procedures.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
Support user onboarding, system access management, and operational requests while promoting best practices across commercial systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Analytics, or a related role.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, data modeling, and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
Experience working with CRM, ERP, and reporting systems.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce, Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and CRM platforms.
Experience supporting quota planning, territory design, sales performance management, forecasting, or incentive compensation programs.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and cross-system integrations.
Experience supporting customer segmentation, commercial analytics, and revenue growth initiatives.
Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Operations teams.
Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
