- Oversee daily resort operations to ensure smooth functioning and high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial goals, increase occupancy rates, and enhance profitability.
- Monitor the resort's budget, manage expenses, daily reconciliations, cash management and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.
- Recruit, train, and supervise resort staff, ensuring that all team members provide exceptional service to guests.
- Coordinate with the human resources department to manage staff schedules, payroll, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety throughout the property. - Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for resort amenities and services.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to maintain a positive reputation and guest relations.
- Enforce resort policies and procedures consistently among staff and guests. - Analyze guest feedback and online reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a relevant field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in resort / retail management or a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of managing a team successfully
- Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability
- Familiarity with industry standard software and reservation systems
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to the hospitality industry
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage with guests, staff, and external stakeholders
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by resort operations
- Capacity to work under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure
