Description
Corteva Crop Health R&D is seeking a Crop Health Regional Admin to drive operational excellence across research activities within Central Eastern Europe.
The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a key business partner to R&D teams by integrating project administration, procurement, financial processes, compliance, EH&S, and research operations support. This position enables efficient execution of research programs, capital investments, station operations, and strategic initiatives through close collaboration with scientists, functional teams, and external partners.
The Crop Health Regional Admin will contribute directly to the effectiveness, compliance, and operational performance of R&D activities across the region while ensuring strong governance, financial stewardship, and operational excellence within a multinational R&D organization.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in administration, procurement, finance, project management, research operations, or similar functions.
- Knowledge of procurement, purchase-to-pay processes, contract administration, and financial tracking.
- Experience working with SAP, Ariba, Nexon, Workday, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions, geographies, and organizational levels.
- Good English communication skills for internal collaboration, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
Regional Operations & Compliance
- Serve as the primary operational and administrative partner to the Central Eastern Europe Lead in executing regional priorities, strategic initiatives, and day-to-day R&D operations.
- Manage contracts, agreements, approvals, compliance documentation, and recordkeeping in accordance with Corteva policies and local regulations.
- Collaborate with R&D, Finance, Procurement, EH&S, HR, leadership teams, and external partners to support efficient execution of research activities across Central Eastern Europe.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of operational documentation and business processes.
Financial Operations, Procurement & Project Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement and payment processes, including budgeting support, purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and payment follow-up.
- Lead operational, project, and CAPEX administration, including financial tracking, forecasting, reporting, and system data integrity.
- Support capital investments, infrastructure projects, station development initiatives, and research facility improvements.
- Act as the primary liaison between R&D, Finance, Procurement, Legal, suppliers, and service providers to ensure effective project delivery.
- Support budget planning and monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Research Operations Support
- Support the CU Leader, Field Scientists, Principal Biologists, and project leaders through administration of trials, vendors, contracts, budgets, and operational activities.
- Coordinate drone-based projects, image acquisition, yield assessment activities, and digital agriculture initiatives.
- Maintain effective relationships with external research providers, contractors, and service partners.
- Support operational execution of research programs through effective planning, coordination, and administration.
EH&S, Facilities & Site Operations
- Support EH&S programs, training, audits, inspections, corrective actions, and compliance activities.
- Oversee administrative aspects of station operations, facility maintenance, service providers, infrastructure projects, relocations, and operational readiness.
- Manage logistics related to visitors, meetings, travel, training events, and day-to-day site activities.
- Promote safe working practices and support compliance with all relevant EH&S requirements.
