Senior Fullstack Engineer – Enterprise Data Collaboration

The Opportunity
Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (Real-Time CDP) helps organizations unify customer data — and our team takes it further, building the engine that lets organizations securely collaborate on data at enterprise scale.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you'll own features end-to-end — from the distributed backend services that move and process data, to the interfaces that make that complexity usable for our customers. If you're driven by complexity, ownership, and end-to-end impact — this is your challenge.

What You'll Do

• Own features end-to-end — from UI to API to backend service — with a strong sense of ownership over quality, scalability, and performance

• Contribute to architecture and system design decisions that span the full stack

• Improve system reliability, observability, and performance across layers

• Mentor teammates and foster a collaborative environment

• Work across teams and domains, including cross-geo collaboration

What You Will Need to Succeed
Fullstack Engineering Foundation

• 8+ years building complex, data-driven web applications and backend services

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and the React ecosystem

• Experience designing and building backend services in Java or Node.js

• Experience with GraphQL and/or REST APIs — both consuming and designing them

• Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases

Distributed Systems & Quality

• Experience designing and operating distributed services and microservices

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar)

• Hands-on experience with E2E and unit testing (Playwright/Cypress, Jest, or equivalent), integrated into CI/CD

• Comfortable in cross-layer architectural discussions — trade-offs between frontend, API, and backend

AI & Engineering Productivity

• Experience using AI tools to improve development workflows

• Practical mindset toward improving engineering velocity with AI

Great to Have

• Experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouses

• Experience with workflow orchestration systems (Temporal or similar)

• Exposure to cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure) and Kubernetes

• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing architectural direction
