## HVM Electrical Engineering M3
Position Summary
The HVM EE M3 leader is responsible for promoting world-class manufacturing performance, operational excellence, and organizational capability within High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). This position provides strategic direction across equipment engineering, manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to reach safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets.
The successful candidate will develop a high-efficiency organization, stimulate innovation and AI-based transformation, mentor future leaders, and cooperate globally to support Micron's long-term business growth.
## Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Execution
- Partner with Site Leadership Teams to define and complete strategic priorities that align with corporate objectives and strengthen Micron's culture and values.
- Partner with Central Planning and Division Planning units to improve capacity planning, output commitments, and long-term manufacturing strategies.
- Serve as the primary HVM Engineering leader, ensuring effective alignment of people, equipment, engineering, and operational resources to meet business goals.
- Take responsibility for manufacturing outcomes and fulfill promises in safety, quality, cost, cycle time, output, and customer satisfaction.
## Manufacturing & Engineering Excellence
- Lead Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing organizations to drive operational stability, equipment performance, and process excellence.
- Establish and meet world-class manufacturing metrics through focused implementation, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement.
- Decrease variability in equipment and operations to boost productivity, quality, and overall manufacturing effectiveness.
- Foster structured problem solving and durable solutions aimed at boosting factory performance and operational efficiency.
## Industrial Engineering & Capacity Optimization
- Direct Industrial Engineering units to improve factory efficiency via detailed planning, capacity assessment, scheduling, and productivity efforts.
- Develop and bring to bear analytical tools and simulation capabilities to improve production flow, resource utilization, and operational decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement programs that support smoother workflows while maintaining operational excellence.
## Organization & Talent Development
- Guide and grow a high-achieving organization, including autonomous shift teams functioning in a 24x7 manufacturing setting.
- Foster an inclusive, accountable, and success-focused culture centered on engagement, collaboration, and results.
- Coach, mentor, and develop leaders while building robust succession pipelines and organizational capabilities to support future growth.
- Ensure team members complete required training and remain equipped with the skills necessary for operational success.
## AI & Digital Transformation Leadership
- Drive the integration of AI-powered tools, data-informed decision making, and digital manufacturing solutions to enhance business results.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technology advancement through practical AI applications.
- Champion responsible, ethical, and secure use of AI technologies in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to find opportunities for automation, operational intelligence, and manufacturing transformation.
## Financial Management & Business Results
- Support budget planning, resource allocation, and investment decisions to improve operational effectiveness and profitability.
- Drive cost reduction and productivity improvements while ensuring sustainable business growth.
- Ensure manufacturing commitments are achieved in alignment with business and financial objectives.
## Global Collaboration & Collaborator Management
- Collaborate across worldwide Micron sites to share guidelines, standardize processes, and apply global solutions.
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional organizations across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Facilities, and Business Units.
- Represent the site in global forums, workshops, and central initiatives.
## Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards are embedded throughout all operations.
- Maintain ownership and accountability for Quality Management System (QMS) and business process effectiveness.
- Ensure processes deliver intended outcomes, support customer requirements, and drive ongoing improvement opportunities.
- Promote a strong customer-focused approach across the organization while maintaining compliance with all applicable requirements.
## Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in semiconductor manufacturing, engineering, operations, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success leading large organizations and driving operational transformation.
- Strong critical thinking, business insight, and change management capabilities.
- Experience with manufacturing systems, capacity planning, industrial engineering, and methods for continual improvement.
- Proven ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional organizations.
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
- Experience leading digital transformation and technology-based business improvements is highly preferred.
## Travel Requirement
- Domestic and international travel required as needed to support business objectives and global collaboration.
