Quality & Process Improvement Coordinator to support quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to identify process inefficiencies, track quality metrics, support corrective actions, and help drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Support quality and process improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation.
• Collect, analyze, and report production and quality data.
• Monitor KPIs related to defects, scrap, rework, downtime, and productivity.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Conduct process audits and verify adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and training materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Assist with process mapping and workflow analysis.
• Coordinate follow-up activities resulting from quality concerns and customer issues.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management reviews.
Qualifications
Required
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, quality, or process improvement.
• Experience working in an automotive, industrial, assembly, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Exposure to Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto).
• Familiarity with quality systems, audits, and corrective actions.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement projects.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required.

MISSION
Support the implementation and monitoring of quality standards, processes, and business continuity, managing projects and collaborating with business areas to optimize efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Consolidate and manage quality reports and processes from business areas, ensuring their proper integration into the sustainability report and alignment with organizational standards.
2. Implement and monitor models and tasks related to business continuity to ensure the operational readiness of critical assets in the event of potential disruptions.
3. Perform detailed monitoring of quality projects and processes, managing operational activities such as the preparation of presentations, reports, and supporting materials necessary to ensure their effective execution.
4. Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO and international standards, collaborating with businesses on their certification, compliance, and continuous improvement.
5. Monitor and analyze data and results reported by businesses regarding quality and processes, proposing corrective and preventive measures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
6. Collaborate in updating and maintaining corporate regulatory systems, adapting tasks to changing needs and ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies
EDUCATION
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or similar
- Master's degree in Quality Management and Process Reengineering, Strategic Process Management, or similar
EXPERIENCE
2-3 years of experience in similar roles
