About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI + Data + CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies that do well and do good, you've come to the right place.

Our vibrant Trailblazer Community plays a crucial role in our success by fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning across Salesforce's growing ecosystem.

About the Role

The Trailblazer Community Team is looking for a Community Manager to own the end-to-end digital community experience for the new unified Trailblazer Community on Slack.

This role sits at the intersection of community strategy, operations, and member experience. You'll be the program-side owner of our digital community— shaping how millions of Trailblazers connect, learn, and grow in the agentic AI era. From onboarding and channel strategy to moderation, analytics, and Dreamforce activations, you'll lead the day-to-day and long-term experience of one of Salesforce's most strategic community investments.

If you're a community builder who thrives in a fast-moving launch environment, is energized by cross-functional collaboration, and knows how to make complex platforms feel effortless and human — we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Workspace Experience Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end community member experience for the Trailblazer Community on Slack, from onboarding through ongoing engagement

  • Serve as the program-side lead for workspace setup, channel architecture, and community guidelines — ensuring the Slack experience aligns with Trailblazer Community brand standards and community values

  • Manage channel structure, descriptions, and topics in collaboration with product, engineering, and community stakeholders

  • Partner with Community Group Leaders (CGLs) on channel management permissions, enablement, and ongoing community operations

  • Partner with the Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Tableau community teams to implement best practices and processes for Slack Community operations

  • Build and scale community programs that empower community members to lead and execute independently

Onboarding & Member Journey

  • Own the community member onboarding experience — ensuring new members can quickly find value, connect with peers, and navigate the workspace

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate user research into onboarding improvements (e.g., intent-based journeys, skip functionality, Code of Conduct integration)

  • Support the development and launch of in-Slack enablement resources, including canvases, workflows, and AI-powered guidance

Community Moderation & Safety

  • Lead day-to-day moderation operations for the Trailblazer Community on Slack, including spam management, escalation paths, and member support

  • Partner with Legal, Security, and product teams on workspace governance, Code of Conduct enforcement, and moderation tooling

  • Monitor community health and surface trends to program and leadership teams

Launch & Activation

  • Drive community-facing readiness for the September MVP launch — coordinating CGL enablement, stakeholder communications, and external comms in partnership with the marketing and enablement team

  • Support the on-site engagement experience at Tier 1 events

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on key workspace KPIs: member growth, Monthly Active Users (MAU), onboarding completion, engagement rates, and CSAT

  • Partner with engineering to build out analytics and reporting infrastructure as the workspace scales toward 200K+ members

  • Monitor member sentiment and surface trending topics to program and product leads

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the connective tissue between the community program team and product/engineering — translating stakeholder feedback into clear requirements and keeping all parties aligned

  • Partner with PMM, Content, Marketing, and Creative teams on workspace-related campaigns, communications, and go-to-market activities

  • Coordinate with the Bevy integration team on user group event management and regional hub strategy

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles such as Community Manager or Community Marketing Manager

  • Passionate about community-building and creating digital experiences that feel human

  • Passion for Slack and all its features:  workspace management, channel operations, and Slack-native tools (workflows, canvases, Slackbot) required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: comfortable drafting member-facing copy, stakeholder updates, and internal documentation

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to plan and execute community activities

  • High energy and focus on making a positive impact

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to travel to support community events globally (up to 25% travel)

  • BA/BS degree

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI-powered community tools or agent-based experiences (e.g., Agentforce, Slackbot)

  • Familiarity with Salesforce products and/or Trailhead

  • Experience managing community group leader or moderator programs

  • Background in change management or community migration projects
