Seasonal Accounting Position – The Blue Barn (MN State Fair)

Join the team at The Blue Barn for a high-energy seasonal position during the Minnesota State Fair! We are seeking a detail-oriented, numbers-minded individual to manage back-of-house cash flow, inventory access, and daily reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Cash Management: Accurately reconcile cash drawers, manage change funds, and prepare daily bank deposits.
• Daily Reporting: Run, analyze, and organize end-of-day sales and POS reports to track revenue and inventory metrics.
• Stock & Facility Access: Safely climb a single-flight ladder to access upper-level storage for auditing inventory or retrieving essential supplies.
• Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure precise record-keeping in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background or interest in accounting, finance, or detailed administrative work.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong basic math skills.
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and physically navigate a single-level ladder.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and available to work flexible hours during the Fair's run.
