Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Centers in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail center, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related needs with integrity. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and parking-related activities as assigned, while maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
