Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Clinical Informatics Support Specialist, you will support, communicate, and organize implementations, optimizations, system upgrades, and new-user education for end users within a care setting. You will function as a subject matter expert and liaison, developing and maintaining relationships with end users to ensure efficient use of clinical and business systems.Every day you will troubleshoot system issues and address the general needs of end users, while assisting in the evaluation and development of current and future state workflows. You will work collaboratively with teams across the organization to optimize training, curriculum, and outcomes.To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to troubleshoot effectively and support workflow improvements. A collaborative approach and subject matter expertise will help you drive efficient system use and positive outcomes for end users.
- Supports and optimizes clinical information system capabilities to meet the organization's goals of quality patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Participates in workflow design and development; project implementation; documentation; and end user training.
- Understands and utilizes evidence-based practice in initial and ongoing EHR training and competency to end users
- Contributes to training curricula, communication and change management for technology changes, upgrades, and downtimes to customers
- Responsible for problem solving, assessing processes and issues, and collaborating with other staff and physicians to develop solutions resulting in efficient and functional workflows for end users of our software applications.
- Participates in projects, meetings, and workshops. Gather information from end users as needed. Escalates appropriately. Prioritizes responsibilities and organizes workload to ensure that work is successfully completed within deadlines.
This position will require you to work inside various clinics in the market on a rotating schedule each week.

- Epic experience and Cerner experience
