## About The Role

As a Mid-Level User Experience Designer at John Deere Research and Development Center in Indaiatuba/SP, you will design Advanced Guidance solutions that enable highly automated and autonomous equipment to navigate, steer, control speed, and perform tasks with minimal user intervention.

This role supports multiple product lines across onboard systems and digital solutions, delivering enhancements to existing products and user experiences. You will collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional teams, including Research, Design, Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering, both locally and globally, to deliver best-in-class user experiences for John Deere customers

## Main Responsabilities

• Perform UX design activities for onboard systems and digital solutions, applying User-Centered Design principles to solve complex user experience challenges.
• Design, prototype, and deliver new and enhanced product experiences that meet user needs, industry standards, and business objectives.
• Lead feature, interaction, and system-level experience design to create intuitive and engaging solutions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, providing insights and recommendations to inform product decisions throughout the development process.
• Communicate research findings, design concepts, and customer insights to stakeholders while contributing to the understanding of customer needs, expectations, and industry trends.

## What Skills You Need

• Previous UX and UI design experience delivering customer-facing products.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools.
• Expertise creating digital mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Solid experience with technology and product development processes.
• Experience translating research insights and analytics into evidence-based design decisions.
• A portfolio of relevant UX design work that highlights your approach to UX problem solving, storytelling and product design.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Advanced or fluent English proficiency for daily communication and collaboration with global teams and stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.

## What Makes You Stand Out

• Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, and UX standards.
• Passion for using AI and emerging technologies to accelerate design, prototyping, and communication of design vision.
• Previous experience with agriculture.
• Previous experience with automation and/or autonomy products.
• Master's or Graduate Certificate preferred.
