Description
- Execute trade capture, confirmation, settlement and lifecycle management processes for OTC and Structured Products, including complex product payoff events.
- Support issuance, post-trade processing and ongoing servicing activities across Equity Derivatives products.
- Partner closely with Sales and Trading teams to resolve trade exceptions, client inquiries and ad hoc business requests.
- Liaise with external issuing and paying agents (IPAs), custodians and clearing houses to process corporate actions and product lifecycle events.
- Investigate, escalate and resolve reconciliation breaks, control exceptions and operational risks in a timely manner.
- Monitor daily operational controls to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation and efficiency initiatives across the support model.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to deliver a consistent client and business experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of equity derivatives trade support, middle office operations or related functions.
- Understanding of equity derivative products, structured products, OTC swaps, options and associated lifecycle events.
- Ability to operate independently with respect to core job responsibilities while escalating issues appropriately.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with front office, operations, technology and external counterparties.
- Experience identifying control gaps and driving operational improvements and automation initiatives.
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm’s core values and demonstrating a strong risk and control mindset.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment, understand complex problems and grasp new concepts quickly.
- At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
