Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Bloomington, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, efficient environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and remain visible to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen incoming and outgoing individuals, vehicles, packages, and materials in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for entry to restricted areas; report discrepancies to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, building entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
