At Parsons, you can imagine a career where you thrive, work with exceptional people, and be yourself. Guided by our leadership vision of valuing people, embracing agility, and fostering growth, we cultivate an innovative culture that empowers you to achieve your full potential. Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.
Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a dynamic Program Manager to lead a major cybersecurity program delivering advanced cyber forensics capabilities in support of a critical Government mission. This is more than a management role — it’s an opportunity to lead exceptional technical talent, strengthen a high-visibility customer relationship, and drive mission success in one of the most important areas of cybersecurity. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, know how to lead experts, and are passionate about building teams that deliver at the highest level, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will lead a large, technically accomplished team delivering the full spectrum of cyber forensics support to our Government customer. As the primary interface between Parsons and the customer, you will be responsible for driving program execution, maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring delivery excellence, and positioning the team to consistently exceed expectations. You will play a critical role in aligning technical performance, operational priorities, staffing, and long-term program success.
This position is ideal for a leader who can balance customer engagement, team leadership, operational excellence, and talent development. You will work side-by-side with highly skilled cybersecurity professionals, helping remove obstacles, create growth opportunities, and foster an environment where experts can do their best work. Your leadership will directly influence mission success while also shaping the future of a deeply talented team.
Beyond the work itself, you’ll be joining Parsons’ local Analytics & Engineering community — a team with a strong culture of cybersecurity excellence, collaboration, and connection. We invest in both mission success and team culture through regular social events, technical talks, training opportunities, and hands-on innovation experiences. From ice cream socials and pizza lunches to family-friendly seasonal events and technical engagement through our Cybersecurity Center of Excellence Lab in Columbia, MD, we work hard to create an environment where people enjoy showing up, learning, and contributing.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a large cybersecurity team delivering the full suite of cyber forensics capabilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Parsons and the Government customer
- Ensure high-quality program execution, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction
- Oversee staffing, task execution, priorities, schedules, and overall program health
- Partner closely with technical subject matter experts to maximize team effectiveness and mission impact
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development support to team members
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
- Anticipate customer needs, identify risks early, and implement solutions that keep the program on track
- Help position the team and program for sustained success and growth
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Active PMP certification
- Bachelors and 15+ years total experience.
- At least 5 years of experience within the last 10 years managing projects or programs of similar size and complexity
- At least 3 years of experience within the last 5 years overseeing and determining manpower requirements for projects of similar size and complexity
- At least 3 years of experience within the last 5 years performing financial and performance monitoring of contracts (e.g., performance metrics)
- Demonstrated success leading large, complex teams in a mission-driven environment
- Strong customer-facing communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to make decisions and commit the organization in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments, and proactively alert the Government to potential contractual or programmatic/resource limitations
- Ability to lead technical teams while aligning operational execution with strategic priorities
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring
- Experience managing cybersecurity, digital forensics, or other highly technical mission support programs
