In this role, you will support environmental, health, and safety programs, partner with cross-functional teams, and help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. What You Will Do
Implement and maintain environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) procedures, work instructions, and compliance programs to meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
Conduct routine EH&S audits, inspections, and incident investigations; document findings, recommend corrective actions, and track resolution of identified risks.
Deliver and maintain required EH&S training programs, including emergency response, hazardous material handling, and site-specific compliance training.
Evaluate new and existing manufacturing operations to identify EH&S risks and implement measures that support regulatory compliance and worker safety.
Coordinate safety committees and multi-shift safety support activities; monitor action items and report compliance, inspection, and incident metrics to management.
What You Will Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing, industrial, laboratory, healthcare, or regulated environment.
Minimum 2 years of experience conducting EH&S audits, inspections, incident investigations, or regulatory compliance activities.
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Experience delivering or administering workplace safety and compliance training programs.
Preferred:
Professional certification in environmental, health, or safety disciplines (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or equivalent).
Experience supporting hazardous waste management, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, or workers’ compensation programs.
Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
United States of America Pay Ranges:
$69,500 - $110,900 USD Annual
