Theater Box Office Work Study Assistant

Assist in Box Office and with script materials for faculty courses

Work Available: Days, Nights & Weekends
Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates the Box Office during Box Office hours and before each show.

• Responsible for opening and closing the Box Office for each Theatre & Dance production.

• Answers the phone, takes messages, and sells tickets.

• Uses Eventbrite.com, card swipe, credit card machine, and handles cash.

• Other tasks include, updating Box Office phone message and creating/distributing theater signage.

• Assisting with special projects that may involve typing, printing, copying, and research.

• Working some evenings and weekends required.

• Keeps the Box Office clean and organized.

• Works as an Usher, House Manager or in the Box Office on the night of performances.

• Assist with script materials for faculty courses

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills and proper phone etiquette

• Customer service skills/experience a plus

• Photoshop or Canva knowledge a plus
