Position Summary
The Safety Data Analyst extracts, aggregates, analyzes, and reports data and information used to support organizational safety and employee harm reduction for the Health System to help identify implications and opportunities for MultiCare. Providing data and reports to support a wide variety of strategy for organizational safety and employee harm reduction activities; completes internal and regulatory reporting; monitors trends and compliance activities; assists in training staff in the use of department data and tools and maintains department files. Maintains organizational reporting dashboards and produces monthly, quarterly and annual reports to support department requirements as required.Responsibilities:
- Maintains department and system level reporting dashboards to support environmental safety and employee harm initiatives.
- Provides data and supports reporting for employee harm initiatives for local and system level committees
- Researches trending data, assisting the Employee Harm Business Partner and Environmental Safey team, to support program development.
- Evaluates injury and illness reports to identify trends or correlation between accidents and characteristics of jobs, such as their methodology, equipment, or environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- One (1) year of data analytics experience required
- Healthcare or Safety analytics experience preferred
- Education and experience in statistical process preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $30.40 - $43.75 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
