Certification Specialist

Habitat America, seeks an experienced, professional Full-time Certification Specialist for Bethany House in Montgomery County, MD.  Bethany House is a dynamic and engaging senior housing community within walking distance to restaurants and shops. 

The Certification Specialist must have excellent customer service skills, written and oral communications skills and an attention to detail. Prior property management Tax Credit experience is desired but not required for this role. TCS certifications are a plus!  Pay commensurate with experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Prior property management experience as an Certification Specialist, Assistant Manager and/or Leasing is a plus.
• Tax Credit Experience is desired 
• TCS certification is a plus!
• Experience with planning resident events and newsletter planning
• Yardi Software experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to work individually and meet deadlines
• Must be able to lead a team while being part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• Must have an attention to detail for both the physical property and required Tax Credit paperwork
• Valid state drivers license and transportation required.
