National Program Director
Oncology Precision Medicine
Amplity has an opportunity for a National Program Director (NPD). The NPD will manage on of Amplity’s talented oncology Precision Liaison Medicine team. This team supports one of our successful and longstanding clients. The National Program Director (NPD) is responsible for performance standards for a team of field-based Precision Medicine Liaisons (PMLs) and PML people Managers. In addition to successfully leading this team, the NPD will ensure all program goals, metrics and financial measurements are achieved/overachieved.
The NPD manages various aspects of employee’s employment experiences including hiring, performance management, administrative, expense management, employee related areas. The NPD works closely with the client management and leadership to support all client program goals, removing barriers for successful achievement of desired results.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Execute and deliver Amplity and client corporate program goals.
- Accountable for achieving annual business objectives.
- Build, develop, manage, and lead a team of Precision Medicine Liaisons.
- In collaboration with Client Lead, develop and execute strategy for the business.
- Communicate team goals and objectives that promote a strong sense of shared vision across the team.
- Create and implement strategically sound business plans and tactical strategies to achieve client and corporate goals.
- Ensure target account goals are met and exceeded.
- Communicate team objectives in ways that promote teamwork and a strong sense of shared goals among team members.
- Effectively plan and facilitate required meetings.
- Evaluate employee territory performance and monitor productivity, metrics, workload, and output, while ensuring compliance with policies and processes and addressing issues through corrective action process as they arise.
- Interview and hire employees in an EEO compliant manner.
- Monitor employee compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain required technical and product expertise including competitive knowledge.
- Ensure all employees fully comply with all laws, regulations, and code of conduct.
- Lead team to successfully meet and exceed all client and team objectives.
- Manage call activity according to defined expectations, with the purpose of meeting and exceeding KPS.
- Fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity Policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines, relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university required
- Oncology experience needed
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical or diagnostic or pharmaceutical/
- medical experience required. 10+ years preferred
- Diagnostic, medical or pharmaceutical leadership experience on a regional or national level required, 5-8+ years preferred
- Strong knowledge of oncology diagnostics in support of targeted therapeutics
- Exposure to breast or lung cancer a plus
- Experience with national accounts/healthcare systems change management desired
- Persuasive oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated success with C-Suite leaders a plus
- Well organized with previous experience in managing budgets for field forces a plus
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and meeting Platforms
- Strong people leadership skills, preferably previously demonstrated in a national-level position(s) work history
- Experience hiring and developing team members
- 2cnd line management experience, (managing managers) a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed nationally on a weekly basis
- Strong planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Reside near a major airport with Central or Eastern time zones preferred
- Successfully pass all Amplity and client required training
- Valid drivers license with safe driving record required

As a representative of a pharmaceutical company, you may be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. It is the Company’s expectation that you comply with the requirements outlined by the facilities on your call plans.
Additionally, certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems have requirements to apply for and obtain a representative license. At this time, representatives working in the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, State of Nevada, State of Oregon, or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County Florida may be required to obtain specific licenses. This list may be subject to change, including the potential for additions or modifications. In the event of any significant changes, you will be notified accordingly.
