About the Role

As a Statutory Compliance Lead Analyst, you will provide technical expertise to ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of statutory reporting deliverables and monthly financial statement reviews for a portfolio of complex legal entities. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will resolve complex accounting and reporting issues, lead interactions with external auditors, and support the delivery of high-quality statutory financial statements.

In this role, you will perform detailed financial reviews, provide technical guidance to colleagues, and drive consistency, governance, and continuous improvement across statutory reporting processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen controls, enhance reporting quality, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key focus areas include:

  • Leading statutory reporting activities for complex legal entities.

  • Resolving technical accounting and financial reporting issues.

  • Reviewing statutory financial statements and monthly reporting deliverables.

  • Leading external auditor interactions and supporting audit resolution.

  • Driving process improvements, standardization, and control effectiveness.

  • Providing technical guidance and sharing expertise across the team.

About you

  • 4–5 years of progressive experience in accounting and statutory reporting.

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.

  • Strong understanding of risk management, including internal controls, managing risk, and embedding compliance and ethics.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand the bigger picture, communicate key messages, and propose solutions to complex issues.

  • Proficient written and spoken English.
