Financial Accountant, Nicosia, Cyprus

Join our client, a growing, multi-jurisdictional tech company based in Nicosia, Cyprus, as a Financial Accountant, and be a key member of their finance team. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Accountant who thrives in complex, multi-entity environments and wants real ownership over group finance and an opportunity to build financial operations in a growing tech company.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping

Record daily invoices, payments, and receipts in Dynamics 365
Manage AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and Stripe payment processing

Multi-Entity Accounting

• Reconcile intercompany transactions across CY, UAE, and RS entities
• Maintain transfer pricing records
• Support the accounting transition for IPO consolidation and track IP transfers

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly management accounts and 12-month cash flow forecasts
• Participate in budget checks across all group companies
• Compile quarterly board reporting packs
• Build Power BI financial dashboards

Tax & Compliance

• File Cyprus VAT and corporate tax returns
• Coordinate UAE VAT/DFSA compliance and Serbian filings with external advisors

Audits & Controls

• Lead quarterly/annual audits with external auditors
• Maintain audit-ready records and enforce internal controls
• Assist with ESOP accounting

Requirements:

• ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity structures
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation (corporate tax, VAT)
• Working knowledge of IFRS
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Greek and/or Russian language skills
• Experience in a multi-jurisdictional group (EU, UAE)
• Experience with the Cyprus IP Box regime
