overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of utility systems, ensuring their efficient and reliable function 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage plant utilities infra-structure and ensuring efficient operation
  • Plan and oversee all intervention and overhauls through all utilities equipment.
  • Ensure reliable operation for Steam boilers and steam distribution networks to supply the required steam demand
  • Monitor HVAC mechanical systems (AHUs, ventilation) and ensure equipment’s reliability
  • Monitor and Maintain operation of chillers, LPC, RO and WWTP
  • Ensure WWTP adheres environmental and Governate compliance
  • Responsible for enhancing continuous improvement culture in his team and using Total Productivity Maintenance (TPM) tools such as “KAIZEN” and “OPL” to achieve long term goals.
  • Owns plant Energy Management & Optimization
  • Monitor utilities equipment’s consumptions(water, Natural gas and electricity)
  • Ensure Continuous and Compliant Wastewater Treatment Operation and daily RO unit operation
  • Lead achieving results of internal audits (TPM PM, M&W,PEMM) and External audits (AIB, ,GEHSMS)
  • Responsible for applying PepsiCo Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards in all Mechanical Utilities activities done by his team to achieve zero safety incidents.
  • Responsible for enhancing continuous improvement culture in his team and using Total Productivity Maintenance (TPM) tools such as “KAIZEN” and “OPL” to achieve long term goals.
  • Responsible for doing required Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Utilities breakdown to ensure proper corrective and preventive actions to avoid repetition.
  • Responsible for applying AIB standards in utilities boundaries and to complete the food safety non-conformities action plan
  • Responsible for updating skill Matrix for utilities team and arrange a proper training plan filling the gap.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree (Power, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering majors)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the same field.
  • Strong in English - written and spoken.
  • Computer & Microsoft Office programs proficiency (Excel-Word-PowerPoint SAP is extra)
  • Communication & Leadership Skills.
  • Decision Maker & Results-oriented.
