Customer Service Representative
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join a Property & Casualty division. In this role, will provide responsive and accurate support to commercial insurance clients, ensuring a consistently positive client experience. You will collaborate with producers and account managers to service accounts, process policy changes, coordinate renewals, and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities
Client Service & Communication
- Manage communications related to renewals, policy changes, audits, and billing.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, and claims.
- Issue certificates of insurance and maintain accurate policy documentation.
Policy Servicing & Account Management
- Service a portfolio of commercial accounts across various industries.
- Process endorsements, cancellations, certificates, and other policy changes.
- Organize and prioritize workflows for an assigned book of business.
Renewals, Marketing & Proposals
- Prepare and review renewal submissions, applications, and proposals for new and existing business.
- Coordinate with underwriters and carriers to obtain quotes and coverage options for renewal business.
- Support producers and account managers in marketing new and renewal business, with a focus on retention.
Coverage Analysis & Collaboration
- Understand complex exposures, including specialty product lines.
- Partner with sales professionals to evaluate exposures, analyze loss trends, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and internal team members to deliver seamless client service.
Systems, Documentation & Compliance
- Use agency management systems accurately and timely to enter and maintain all required information.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
- Experience: Two or more years of commercial lines servicing experience preferred.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g., general liability, property, workers’ compensation, auto, umbrella).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360, or similar).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional Development: Demonstrated interest in continuing to build industry knowledge and expertise.
