Fully integrated in the Procurement organization, General Procurement (GP)’s mission is to procure goods and services on behalf of all Airbus Divisions. GP employs more than 500 professionals on around 40 sites in Europe as well as in China, India and the US. Engineering Procurement (PJE) is responsible for procuring services for Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Customer Services across all Airbus Divisions, managing a spend of €1.7B with over 60 team members in Europe.
This position is within the Engineering Non-Specific Design Sub-Commodity team (PJEP), with a focus on Engineering Subcontracting services for Avionics and Simulation Products. High-visibility role offering direct exposure to DDMS transformation and key cross-functional stakeholders.
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Commodity Buyer (f/m) to join our Engineering Procurement department based in Toulouse, France.

Your challenges:
Manage end-to-end calls for tenders and procurement projects with a multi-divisional and trans-national scope.
Maintain supplier relationships and perform Contract Review Meetings (CRM) to assess performance and mitigate risks.
Lead the Sub-MDT (Multi-Functional Team) for Systems across Airbus Commercial and Airbus Helicopters to ensure operational follow-up.
Deliver value and drive synergies by translating business needs into efficient sourcing strategies and cost structures.
Contribute to supplier development in terms of innovation, digitalization (DDMS), and sustainability.
Your boarding pass:
Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or equivalent.
Solid experience in Procurement or Engineering, with strong negotiation skills and contract management practice.
Financial acumen to build business cases, challenge supplier cost structures, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Proven ability to manage complex projects and communicate efficiently across multi-cultural and multi-divisional teams.
Mandatory fluency in English and French (both oral and written).
