Overview
Clinical Nurse Leader Fellow (RN) Surgical Intensive Care and Intermediate Surgical Care
Full-time, 40 hours p/week
To facilitate the transition of BSN prepared Registered Nurses to the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) role by working to improve the quality of patient care outcomes while mentored by CNLs and Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and attending a graduate CNL program. Ensures coordination of patient care through the development and use of practice standards. Serves as a clinical expert providing analytical support to nursing leadership to plan and predict patient care needs based on quality benchmarking, research, and evidenced based practice.

Qualifications
- An eligible candidate must have at least three years nursing experience.
- The candidate must have a written recommendation from their current manager.
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
- The candidate must be accepted into a qualified CNL graduate program before their fellowship start date.
- Preferred experience includes, but may not be limited to:
- Performance improvement/Quality improvement committees and or projects
- Participation in shared governance/local practice council
- Safety champion participation
- Experience with implementing unit initiatives
- Preceptor experience
- Leadership experience (supervisor, charge RN)
- Preferred education/certifications include, but are not limited to:
- Yellow or Green Belt training/certification
- Specialty certifications
- Quality or safety certifications
Required Licensure/Certifications
