Your Role

• Strategic roadmap execution: Turn ZEISS Extended Reality’s retail strategy into tangible execution with key partners and markets; shape and drive strategic roadmap initiatives in the areas of online optical retail, omnichannel experience, insight generation or continuous improvement

• Customer journey design: Design, map and refine end-to-end customer journeys across online and in-store touchpoints to identify opportunities to improve experience and conversion

• Customer enablement & partner onboarding: Lead end-to-end onboarding of new customers/ partner from initial setup through to stable operations across channels

• Cross-functional project management and stakeholder management: Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage timelines, risks and interdependencies and ensure alignment with leadership, cross-functional teams (e.g. IT), local markets and external partners

• Continuous improvement & insights: Define measurement and feedback loops (e.g. operational KPIs, customer and partner feedback, adoption metrics) for key initiatives and rollouts; Run structured improvement cycles: Analyse results, identify issues and opportunities, propose enhancements, and standardize successful practices for reuse across markets and partners

• Market learning & knowledge building: Coordinate targeted activities (e.g. pilots, store visits, interviews) to gather insights on customer and partner behavior; synthesize findings into recommendations that inform strategy, future concepts and roadmap priorities

Your Profile

• Strong project and program management skills, from scoping and planning to execution, risk management, and governance in multi-stakeholder environments

• Solid understanding of retail operations and customer journeys, ideally in optical, healthcare, or premium consumer retail.

• Experience in project management, customer enablement and partner-facing work

• Ability to connect strategy and execution, translating strategic directions into clear workstreams, initiatives, and pilots.

• Familiarity with omnichannel concepts and how digital and physical touchpoints reinforce each other in a B2B2C or retail context.

• Experience with data-driven and continuous improvement approaches, including working with KPIs and qualitative feedback.

• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with both external partners and internal senior stakeholders

• Hands-on approach with the ability to move from concept to action quickly and iterate in a dynamic environment

• High degree of accountability and ownership – able to own topics end-to-end, make decisions within scope, and deliver results independently in a dynamic environment

• Fluent in English; German and/or additional languages are an advantage
