Are you a reliable and motivated team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? The Pines in Placerville is looking for a Dietary Aide to join our supportive and collaborative team. If you take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly while helping provide quality meals to residents, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Dietary Aide, you’ll play an important role in supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring residents receive meals in a safe, timely, and sanitary manner. You’ll work closely with the Cook and Dietary Supervisor while contributing to a positive dining experience for our residents.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and serve meal trays to residents
- Assist with food preparation, snacks, and nourishments
- Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and dining spaces
- Monitor dishwashing temperatures and sanitation standards
- Store food and supplies in an organized and sanitary manner
- Take out trash and support overall kitchen upkeep
- Work collaboratively with dietary and facility staff to meet daily needs
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus, but not required
