At Enbridge, we are leading the transition to a lower-carbon future by delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions. As a Regional Manager, Wind Operations, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing a portfolio of wind generation assets, driving operational excellence, fostering a strong safety culture, and supporting the continued growth of our renewable energy business. This is more than an operations leadership role. It's an opportunity to influence the performance and future growth of one of North America's expanding renewable energy portfolios. If you're motivated by developing people, optimizing performance, and leading through change, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of a regional portfolio of wind generation facilities while promoting a strong safety-first culture.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to Plant Managers and site leadership teams across geographically dispersed operations.

  • Drive operational excellence through effective maintenance execution, outage planning, contractor management, and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Manage operating budgets, forecasting activities, resource allocation, and contractor/vendor performance to achieve business objectives.

  • Partner with Engineering, Asset Management, Safety, Environment, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to optimize asset reliability and operational performance.

  • Support the successful integration of new wind assets by ensuring operational readiness, workforce capability, regulatory compliance, and effective transition to operations.

  • Champion continuous improvement, asset optimization, reliability programs, and major capital initiatives across the regional portfolio.

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience within power generation, renewable energy, utilities, or industrial operations.

  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-site operations and maintenance activities for wind generation assets or comparable infrastructure.

  • Proven ability to lead through leaders, develop high-performing teams, and build accountability across geographically dispersed locations.

  • Strong knowledge of safety management, regulatory compliance, contractor oversight, and field operations.

  • Experience managing operating budgets, forecasting, vendor relationships, and business performance metrics.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, decision-making, and change leadership capabilities.

Preferred:

  • Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng., PE, or equivalent).

  • Electrical or mechanical engineering background, or equivalent technical expertise.

  • Experience working within multiple power markets or regulatory jurisdictions such as ERCOT, PJM, MISO, IESO, AESO, SPP, or NERC/CIP environments.

  • Experience supporting commissioning, operational readiness, repowering projects, major capital programs, or lifecycle asset management initiatives.

  • Knowledge of CMMS/work management systems, reliability programs, inventory management, SCADA systems, OEM service agreements, and joint venture operations.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based leadership role with significant time spent at operating wind facilities, project sites, and field locations.

  • Frequent travel throughout Canada and the United States, typically ranging from 30% to 50%.

  • Requires visible field leadership through site visits, operational reviews, and safety observations.

  • Must be able to safely climb wind turbines, work at heights, and access operating facilities, subject to required training and certifications.

  • Safety-sensitive position requiring adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
