Join our team, in Global Procurement as:

Manager Global Vehicle Procurement

Your mission :

You will primarily be responsible for negotiating directly with vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) to deliver value to our internal and external stakeholders.   You will continuously update your deep and wide knowledge of the Global automotive industry, which will continue to be under major transformation.  You will use your automotive knowledge to not only adapt your negotiation strategies but to also advise customers and internal stakeholders to maximise value capture.

This role is much wider than just Vehicle procurement.

Responsibilities :

  • Define and lead central OEM negotiations to ensure that objectives and targets are met
  • Provide guidance to countries and support problem solving in escalated issues related to Vehicle Procurement and OEM related topics
  • Central point of contact and knowledge for a portfolio of OEMs and coordinates with all relevant Internal Stakeholders such as Remarketing, Finance, Commercial
  • Ensure all volume and financial targets are achieved within agreed timescale
  • Source, negotiate, select and sign annual framework agreements with suppliers
  • Provide in-depth expertise and maintain up-to-date knowledge related to suppliers (OEMs and Dealers), markets and trends
  • Manage the contracts and monitor the execution of bonus & discount agreements
  • Establish and manage and continuously develop relationship with suppliers
  • Liaise with internal business partners of the value streams to understand needs and to translate this to strategies and projects.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in procurement, business or law would be an advantage
  • 5+ years of National / International Automotive experience (ideally sales or procurement)
  • Experience with supplier relationship management, process implementation
  • Fluent in English language
  • Flexible to travel
