Contribute to global supply chain excellence by ensuring customs compliance, managing trade requirements, and driving operational efficiency.
Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Customs Governance and provision of consultative advisory for Infineon Companies with complex customs activities, e.g. productions sites
- Guide, monitor the implementation of Internal Control Programme to ensure customs compliance.
- Monitor the changes in customs regulations and laws then translate them into operational guidance.
- Partnership with Customs process owner from Infineon Companies to optimize the processes and work instructions in accordance to Infineon corporate rules regularly.
- Plan and conduct internal customs audit.
- Responsible for AEO programme by way of planning, application, audit and renewal of AEO certification.
- Drive harmonization of local tools and processes
- Perform Customs Trainings to relevant departments and employees.
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor degree with minimum of Class 2 Upper Division Honours.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Logistics, preferably in Customs Compliance.
- In depth knowledge in Customs domain such as HTS Classification, Customs Valuation, Free Trade Agreements, Rules of Origin, various tax regimes, licensed manufacturing warehouses and Free Trade zones.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
