Calibration Specialist

Purpose of the function:

Responsible for the calibration of electronic/optical measurement instruments 
from customers or from the internal Yokogawa organization.
Ensure that the Laboratory is equipped with facilities capable of delivering the 
calibration of electronic /optical measurement instruments from customers or 
from the internal Yokogawa organization.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze reports and take action to ensure customer satisfaction.
Continuously check and if required develop, procedures to ensure that ISO 
standards are met.

Result Area 2 – Writing, running & develop procedures
Setting targets and follow business plan to ensure calibration operation meet its
financial and customer key performance indicators as agreed by Yokogawa 
management.

Result Area 3 – Logistics
Manage the planning, registration, reporting and logistics of the product 
internally to ensure turnaround time is in line with customer’s expectations; 
closely working with Logistics to manage the assignment within 
planning/deadlines.
 

Result Area 4 - T&M laboratories and equipment
Maintain and update calibration facilities.
Design new calibration facilities.
 

Result Area 5 – Training
Organize/plan and execute calibration training both internally and externally in 
line with business needs and customer requirements.

Result Area 6 – Know How
Stay up-to-date with the required and latest technologies and share this with the 
relevant parties. Be recognized as the internal subject matter expert responsible 
for tracking new calibration initiatives or technologies in the market to 
adopt/suggest where relevant.

Result Area 7 – Quotation / order management
Support commercial proposals and order handling for calibration projects. 
Provide advice for end of life Test and Measurement equipment. 

Result Area 8 - Calibration of complex products / test equipment solutions 
Calibrate complex, specialized and non routine electronic instruments in line with 
defined calibration procedures and instructions. Ensure timely turnaround and 
quality assurance to maximize customer satisfaction.
