Job Description Shipping & Receiving / Customer Support

Job Summary: Responsible for the day to day shipping and receiving duties, including freight company relations and warehouse operations. 

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Receive shipment, confirm shipment is accurate.

2. Distribute received shipment to warehouse or appropriate Department.

3. Receipt invoice for Inventory purposes.

4. Pick, stock and restock inventory. 

5. Shipment of all packages via UPS, Fed EX and all other applicable methods.

6. Ensure quality control procedures are followed. 

7. Assist in housekeeping duties including recycling materials, collecting & disposing of trash.

8. Assist in inventory functions including cycle counts, physical inventories, and warehouse organization.

9. Interact with freight companies to provide the best freight solutions for the business.

10. Process applicable paperwork including freight bills, packing slips, and bill of ladings.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Individual should know how to operate a fork lift or a strong ability to learn, have basic knowledge of computers, poses excellent organizational and communication skills.

Individual must comply with the Palmer Road Map.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Individual should poses a high school diploma or its equivalent.

• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate standard departmental      equipment for example, operates a PC, pallet jack, fort lift etc. 
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, stands, and walk for long periods      of time.
• Operate motor vehicles
• Lift up to 50 pounds. 
• Other duties as required

Working Conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and gloves. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
