PURPOSE: The HR Specialist is responsible for attracting candidates to support the company's staffing needs, serving as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process and beyond. This role is onsite and reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.

KEYS TO HIRE: Demonstrated success in building strong relationships and identifying talent hard-to-fill roles through proactive and creative sourcing.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: 3 years of recruiting experience plus

• 3 years of experience in recruiting skilled manufacturing personnel i
• Experience in creating positive written communications
• Experience working across all functions of an organization
• Knowledge of employment laws
• Excellent computer skills especially with Excel, Word, and Outlook

RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting and driving results, responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Manage full-cycle recruiting
• Track open positions, partner with hiring managers on job postings/descriptions
• Conduct pre-screening interviews and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers
• Partner with managers to assess candidates, provide hiring expertise, extend offer letters, and organize onboarding
• Own the New Hire Orientation program, including follow-up activities, connection-building, and retention action plans
• Develop and administer new hire feedback surveys and follow-up processes
• Coordinate performance review cycles with managers on a set schedule
• Build talent pipeline partnerships with technical schools, high schools, and other institutions
• Coordinate training and development programs, track new hire training completion, and recommend training or role adjustments for underperforming employees
• Support additional HR functions and events
