Core Responsibilities
Lead and develop a diverse global Credit Risk team across Mexico, the Czech Republic, and Singapore, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-focused culture
Own the global Credit Risk strategy and oversee credit risk management across The LEGO Group's entire customer portfolio, including LEGO® Education
Partner closely with Markets & Channels and LEGO Education teams to balance business growth with effective credit risk management through strong commercial and financial expertise
Define and continuously evolve the global credit strategy and risk appetite framework, adapting to changing market conditions and macroeconomic developments
Lead the development of next-generation Credit Risk capabilities by driving innovation in partnership with Business Process & Information teams, including advanced analytics, predictive risk modelling, and AI-enabled solutions
Collaborate with Treasury and Accounts Receivable teams to optimize working capital, cash flow, and credit performance across the business
Personally support the evaluation of complex financial risk and credit requirements for major global customers when needed
This role can be based in either our Prague (Jinonice) or Singapore office.

As the Global Credit Risk Director, you will report directly to the Global Order-to-Cash Service Owner and lead the global Credit Risk function. Working closely with senior finance and commercial leaders, you will help maximize business growth while protecting the company's financial health through strong governance, strategic credit risk management, and continuous innovation. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of global Credit Risk capabilities across the LEGO Group.
Do you have what it takes?
Academic background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven professional experience in Finance, including several years of hands-on experience in Credit Risk Management
Proven leadership experience managing multicultural, preferably geographically dispersed, teams
Experience operating successfully within a global, matrix organization and highly collaborative business environment
Strong commercial acumen combined with advanced analytical capabilities and a proven ability to leverage data to influence strategic business decisions
Experience leading process transformation, automation, and optimization initiatives in partnership with Digital & Technology teams
Strong knowledge of finance systems, credit risk tools, and data analytics platforms
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, storytelling, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior business leaders
Ability to balance strategic leadership with a hands-on approach when required
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity while maintaining a high level of execution
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with finance technologies, credit platforms and digital transformation tools
Exposure to predictive analytics, automation or AI applications within finance operations.
