Job Description
As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Response in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position calls for reliable professionals who act with integrity, collaborate with teammates, and bring an agile, caring approach to every shift.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs accurately while communicating relevant information during shift handoffs.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
